.:: Last Night Shift To Go ::.

Hey all, I'm back again to do another update... Previously, I've been workin' the B shift most of the time, which I feel is the most fucked up shift ever... I mean, ur neither here nor there.. That's what I always feel about mid-shifts... Cuz when u wake up in the mornin', ur already gettin' ready to get to work... and once ur at work, it's in the afternoon and when u end work.. it's like too late to do anythin'... (Hang outs, date, dinner and so on).. So yeah... 

Yesterday I had a night shift and boy, night shift's awesome... There ain't much stress goin' on... Peaceful, not much movement and u feel free at work. And the best part, no one really bother u...

The only downside about the night shift is that ur workin' late at night while everyone else are asleep and for me, I'm a night person so I don't really mind actually... 

So there I was, at work, doin' my own work (Polish the trolleys, fetch newspapers, charge the buggy and what not), with no one bothering me... and time flies.. oh my.. time really flies when ur workin' the night shift.. and that's a good thing.. hahaha...

A few days before I was complainin' when I saw my schedule because when I saw my schedule, I saw my night shift and right after my night shift was my off day.. And I don't really like it when I'm havin' an off day right after my night shift cuz half of ur off day is gone... '

So there I was complainin' about my one day off and stuff.. bla bla bla.. 

BUT...

.:: 3 Days Off + 1 Day PH = 4 Days To Chill Out ::.

I saw next week's schedule and I was like...Happy as monkey who had just gotten 10 bananas!

Ok, maybe not to that extend but somehow I was jumpin' for joy.. haha... 

Sunday's my off and then for next week, I got Monday and Tuesday off and then on Wednesday, I got one PH... So yeah! JOY TO THE FUCKIN' WORLD! Hahahah!!

If only I could keep my PH, that would be awesome but then again, we're not allowed to keep it long.. darn!

For those who's wonderin' what PH means.. it's Public Holiday... For every holiday u work, u'll earn one day of PH that u can claim for later... So it's all good...

If u guys ever wonder how my uniform looks like.. well.. here it is...

.:: The Devil's Room ::.

Hmmm, the devil's room... For this part of the entry, it's not really associatin' with the devil or seen the devil or anythin' like that... 

It's just that when I was walkin' on the corridor of the 6th floor... to send some letter to some room... I stumble upon a door number and I was like..."Whoa~~~"

That's right people... "666"... that's the number I saw... And I thought... "Shit, ain't that the Devil's Number" 

So Yeah.. it's just a random entry for this one.. hahaha...

.:: Dinner With The Few ::.

A bunch of us are plannin' to have like a small gatherin' and just hang out, u know.. maybe have a li'l bondin' session... What they have plan is to go have dinner and maybe go for a movie or Karaoke or somethin' like that... And it's all happenin' this Wednesday... I'm guessin' it's gonna be fun.. well.. let's just see how it goes for that day...

Now, this is what u get when u ask a cute li'l adorable lady to wear a big guy's stuff... Adorably cute she is! Without realizing, it's already like almost 8 months together come this 10th March... Wow, it's been that long ey? I'm amazed at it... somehow.. hehehe.. I love her so much, she's so adorable. My li'l Miss Tina Tan...

.:: iPod Touch, Xbox 360 or iPad ::.

Remember the last time I wrote in about what I'm plannin' to buy for myself? 

I was thinkin' either to get the iPod Touch or buy again an Xbox right?

Well, for now, I got another option in the list... 

Yeap, that's right, it's the iPad!

I was readin' about it in Apple's Website and somehow, it caught my attention. The only thing is that, it's not out yet... So I might have to wait for it but hell, it's quite a beauty.

I mean, it's like the blown up version of the iPhone... It's almost the same only it's bigger.. 

Somewhat a cross breed of the iPod Touch and the Macbook... But hey, it's a beauty... that's for sure...

Like I said, ain't she a beauty!

Allright then all, looks like I have to get going now... gotta prepare for work already...

Holy wow... It's a Thursday and it's my first A shift after a long stretch of B shift... And wakin' up in the mornin' can be quite a bitch.. hehehe... I was a li'l late just now... well... slightly late actually... About 10 mins maybe? But it was allright...

Work today was a li'l boring... Nothin' much to do, except the fact that there are like... loads of people walkin' around here and there just to take a look at the "newly" opened Resort... Just a bunch of people who's curious about the place... There was some in-house guests BUT the outside crowd makes up most of the human traffic that's moving about in the lobby...

A lot of frequently asked questions... I mean, I have to repeat the answers over and over and over.. but hey, it's to a totally different bunch of people.. so it's allright... Tired, thirsty.. but it's all good...

"May I know the way to Hard Rock Hotel?"
"Which way to the Casino?"
"Do u have anything to eat for lunch around here?"
"What are the room rates?"
"When will Universal Studios be opened?"
"May I know the way to Universal Studios?"
"How do I get to Siloso Beach from here?"
"Do u know the way to the monorail station?"

Just a few of the common questions that I have to face for the past few days...
And the people come in all different shapes and sizes... and age as well...
Oh well, tomorrow is another day of answerin' questions... *sigh*


.:: B Back From HK ::.


Bernard was away in Hong Kong all these while and I didn't know until it was like about 3 days after he left... I didn't know cuz the last time we met, he told me that he wasn't going... and suddenly, there he was, in HK... hahaha...

Well, it was pretty much quiet without B around.. I mean... quite boring without B.. He's my best bud since I was 14... we're tight like brothers... Hahaha... I mean, it's like a routine for me to chill out at his place during my off days.. but my past off day... I was at home... ngast! At home.. the whole fuckin' time.. hahaha...

Oh well, he's back anyways...

Hmmm.. I guess I'm gonna have my first split off days next week... Out of the almost two months of workin' there... I've always had two off days back to back.. and next week, is gonna be my first split off days... ( Bor~~~ring! ). Well, I guess i just have to make do with it for now.. heh...


Allright then all, I guess I don't have much to write about now.. I shall return when I have more material to write about.. heh... and I promise pictures in the next entry...

The Man Has Returned

Hey all! I know that I’ve been away for a while and I’ve not been updatin’ my blog… I’m guessin’ that some of u do return here to check out if I did update my blog… I know cuz I’ve subscribed to this site traffic report thingy and they keep sendin’ me e-mails… and I did see like a couple of u who visits my blog…

Ok… maybe not a couple… just a few… and that few is like.. one or two of ya.. hahaha…

Oh Well… I’m back now.. and yes… it has been a few months since I last wrote and there’s so many things that had happened…

A band disbanded, an ex who got engaged, new job that I grew to love…

Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day & Casino Opening? Bad Idea…

That’s right everyone, u read that properly… 14th February had past and as we all know that it was Valentine’s Day… Nothin’ special to me… I mean, to me, Everyday is Valentine’s Day, it’s just the way u see it… To me, everyday is a special day for me and my girlfriend...

Talkin’ about girlfriend, this is a recent picture of us… Taken yesterday in KFC while we’re out doin’ some window shoppin’ in Tampines…


Cashless but full of wishlist… Wanted to buy almost everything I see..

Anyways, back to the topic… 14th February… A day where there was a few events going on… Valentine’s Day was one of it and I had to work on that day…

Another event that happened on that day was Dzafir’s birthday… Valentino Boy… hehe… Tweet had planned a li’l Surprise Birthday Picnic for Dzafir on that day… It all happened in Marina Barrage and I wished that I could have been there. Saw some pictures of them havin’ fun through Mon’s facebook and I wished I could have been there. They had food, drinks and a couple of games to play.. and they were even flyin’ kites! Oh well, too bad, I had to work…




The other event that happened on that very day… Was Chinese New Year… So that means.. it was a Holiday… I mean, Gong Xi Fa Cai to all my chinese friends but the thing that was making that day very hectic.. was the fact that it was the Grand Opening of the Casino at the place where I was workin’… So…

Holiday + Casino Opening = Insanely Hectic Day!

What u see here in the picture is the way towards the Casino… Now, this is when there was no one around and it was before the openin’ of the casino.

This is totally nothing compared to the day of the opening… It was so crowded… it was insanely packed and everyone keep walkin’ about.. even till 10 plus in the evenin’ where the crowd would normally die down… The past few days of workin’ during the Chinese New Year period made me felt as though I was workin’ in some Fish Market due to the high human traffic… It was crazy.. simply crazy… And somehow, it made me realized how the casino can make a person so addicted to gambling… People just keep comin’ back and they stayed very long inside the casino… Thank god I don’t gamble…

Hopefully that by the time I come back to work after my off days, that crowd will not be like how it was… Hoping for it to be slightly lesser…


Less Cash But Loads Of Items In The Wishlist

When I was walkin’ about with my dearest yesterday in Tampines, I saw a lot of things that I thought of buyin’… but lookin’ at the prices of those things sorta like, stop me in the tracks…. Things are gettin’ more expensive these days… but somehow, I have two things that I so wanna get…

1. 32GB iPod Touch

2. Xbox 360

I’m guessin’ that some of u guys might be wonderin’…”Why would he get another Xbox 360 when he has already got one?” Well… True, I do have one but the current one that I have is damaged beyond repair… It’s gone, dead.. RIP…

The infamous “Red Ring Of Death” took it away… My dad did fix it somehow but it went dead all over again… So I so wanna get another Xbox… My 12 Months Gold Membership is still on and it'd be a waste if I don’t use it…

For the iPod touch… I feel that I need it for my own entertainment use, u know… like listenin’ to mp3 or play some of the games they have… and even surf the net on it’s wi-fi! Thought of gettin’ the iPhone but my Samsung Beat DJ is still new and besides, it has a unique design and not many people own this phone so I’m definitely stickin’ to my Samsung phone.

The End Of A Memorable Experience

Almost 11 years… and only now, it ended…

Sad ending but in a very good note… And the support that everyone gave was amazing… It was so amazing that it somehow brought me to tears. 11 years is a long time… The stuff we went through together was insane… The happy moments, the sad moments, the heated moments… Highs and Lows… we went through it together and somehow, we always manage to pull things off…

Writing songs, playin’ shows, travelling together during tours, the bond… Everything… had been a wonderful experience for me and as well for the guys as well… Those who step on board to play alongside with us, even if it’s just a short while, will always be remembered. My band, my fellow musicians as well as my brothers… those 11 years together had been awesome… No Direction / After The Sky is love…
