.:: NATION'S BIRTHDAY ::.

Two days ago, it was the nation's birthday.. Without realizin'.. it's her 40th birthday! Wow.. that's awesome.. 40 years of independence.. Amazin' ey? Well, the parade was as usual.. every year the same 'ol same 'ol... The planes, the choppers, the birdmen with smokes attached to their feet, their mobile column, the crowd, the redness.. the singing.. the show.. the marchin'.. all the same.. it's just a different way of workin' it.. As for the fireworks.. well.. it was awesome.. The best part of NDP.. Always had been.. The fireworks.. Loud bangs in the sky lighting up the darkness of the night... Displayin' beautiful sparkles that shapes out all kinds of shapes.. Amazin'...

.:: ANTICIPATING PAY DAY ::.

What I've realised about pay day.. is that, we're always anticipating... u know, it's like.. "When's it comin'? Is it in yet?" That kinda question.. And before hand, u would normally plan out like what ur gonna do with that pay... "Okay, next pay, pay my bills, buy new shoe, movies.. get my smokes...." yada yada yada shma... but normally, after plannin' it out days before ur pay day.. when actual pay day comes.. there's bound to be miscalculation.. "Okay, so i'm short.. I guess I'm not gettin' that MP3 player..." Somewhat like that... So there u have.. u paid ur bills, u miscalculated.. and u spend on movies and stuff.. and then ur short.. For those who's not the savin' kind.. Like me, who doesn't know how to save, would have problems.. Cuz once u spend.. and spend... and spend.. u realise.. that ur out of cash.. Give it 4 to 5 days.. My longest lastin' with my pay.. was a week... And that happens only like.. what.. once.. or was it twice.. hmm.. The shortest was one day.. and that's it.. BAM.. gone.. Finish.. But the thing is.. when the pay day comes..u'll be like waitin' for the 4D or TOTO Results.. "Is it out already? It's 11 already what?! Surely come in already.." And when u put that ATM Card in.. And u press on "Account Balance"... And when the screen shows up... There's two kinds of reaction...

Reaction A :- Put in the card, enter ur PIN Number, hit the 'Account Balance' key.. And it comes out the remainder of what u have on ur previous pay... (E.g. $2.95).. And ur face changes from a hopeful face to a down sad face.. And realised that ur pay is not in especially when u really need it to take a cab home that night..

Reaction B :- Repeat the steps above till the Account Balance part.. The screen shows $392.95.. And u'll be like.. "ALLRIGHTY THEN!" And there u go drawin' out ur cash.. buyin' smokes and what not.. Take cab to town, meet up ur friends.. buy this.. and buy that.. yada yada.. All happy and joyous!...

So that was my LAME theory on the Pay Day Anticipation...

.:: B-DAY SURPRISE ::.

Got two surprise on my birthday.. The first one when I was at work.. My phone rang.. And guess what? pluGGy called up! And it was a major surprise.. i mean, WHERE HAVE U BEEN GIRL?!?! And suddenly there she was.. talkin' to me.. just like old times.. but now a days, it's different, I mean, the feeling's all different.. Back then it was like.. "Oh man, dude, pluggy called me up..." And i'll be like all happy and havin' this tingly feelin' in my stomache.. but now it's simply a normal call.. Somewhat like.."oh.. it's pluggy.. hey girl, where have u been?" that kinda shit... Now it's more like a friend friend kinda feeling.. We had something together before but that's a memory for keeps.. So yeah, she called me up.. askin' me how I'm doin' and all and well, she called me up to say Happy Birthday.. She remembered! Cool.. And yeah, I'm glad that she's workin' now, rathar than she sits at home doin' nuts.. She's workin' at some.. I don't know.. company.. i forgot what she was workin' as.. damn.. pluGGy-O... I wanna say thanks buddy! Love ya always aight?

The second surprise was when I fetched my girl home.. dropped by her workplace.. and well, it was as normal.. they were doin closin' and all.. and it was normal.. They finished cleanin' up.. and changin'.. and stuff.. The next thing I new.. A birthday cake came out...And they were singing the birthday song loud.. heh.. It was a nice Chocolate Cake.. With some rice biscuits in between the layers.. and some Chocolate Cream..i was touched.. Thanks to my baby.. it was her idea.. I never got a surprised birthday cake before.. it's been a while... Thank u baby and thanks to the Delifrance crew... I love u peeps!

NYP... Nanyang Polytechnic... yeap, No Direction will be havin' a show there tomorrow.. Alongside with some bands.. Awesome bands.. well, ain't much on this topic.. so yeah.. just to update u guys..
