Hey ho! I'm back... with pointless blogs... But just felt like typin somethin' in... Sometimes, it might just entertain some of u (I think there might not even be anyone readin' all this...)

It's like 12:13pm right now and I'm in the Serangoon Outlet for today... A Lion Dance troupe just did their performance right outside the store... Entertaining yet annoyingly noisy...

I love it when I'm bein' sent to take care of this outlet... Cuz there's pretty much nothing to do...
Just sit at the cashier and wait for customers to come in... (Which is quite a low flow compared to Plaza Singapura outlet)...

AND

There's more food choice for here... It's like a eating heaven for those who loves food... Restaurants everywhere and I guess some of u may know this place called Chomp Chomp...
Where my outlet is, it's nearby where Chomp Chomp is...

But one thing I do not like about this outlet is that... it gets so... fuckin' dull and boring after a while...
So that sorta explains why I'm typin' out this blog... or even have the time to blog...

Gong Xi fa Cai

I know Chinese New Year was like two days ago but hey... "Gong Xi Fa Cai"!
Chinese new year was sorta like a ghosttown... Kinda quiet and not much people around...
The best part of it, Gaming Era was one of the two stores that was open on Chinese New Year...
On that whole fuckin' floor, GV, Otaku House and Gaming Era was the only stores open... Imagine how boring it was...

I mean, the two stores next door closed.. for Two Days! Now, that's a break that they should have given us... I mean, 6 days a week and long hours and we don't even get the two off days on a holiday?
Kinda sucked...
Everybody was posting up statuses sayin' they on breaks or holidays or off day and what not and I was there workin'...
Not sayin' there wasn't anyone of u who was also workin' on CNY...
Gettin' a li'l tired of this job...
Love the nature of it... which is gaming but not the long workin' hours...
That is killin' my enthusiasm to go to work... Day by day, it's fadin'... slowly...
But I just gotta hang on for a while more cuz I need the pay to keep me going...
At the same time, I'm lookin' for better opportunities...
If there was ever a good one, I'll jump ship (again)

Jumped ship too many times...
Met so many "Captains"...
Gotta find a ship that I will sail with for a long time...

Oooh, looky here... 12:24pm... Might head out to have a bite...

The Return Of The Geek

Here I am... Back again after a long long time.. Nothing much to do right now so I thought to myself, "Why not update my blog?"

So here I am, in Blogger.. updating my blog...

Many Changes

Since my last entry... many changes had happened...
Lots of my friends are gettin' married... Either they are already married or they will soon be married.
Everybody's growing up and I'm feelin' a li'l pressure on that Marriage thing... Although no one exactly pressure me, I'm just feeling pressured on my own...

Not gettin' any younger u know, as age catches up, more and more thoughts and worries comes in.
Most of 'em settlin' down... I do wanna settle down and I do want to start a family of my own but it's just that I'm not fully ready for it... Financially wise...
Slowly but surely, one day... that big day will come for me...

As for the job, previously I was workin' with UPS as a delivery guy but I jumped ship again...
Call it quits and decided to go elsewhere...
So here I am, workin' in a game store... Being the geek that I am, I love the idea of workin' with somethin' that I love so much.. Which is gaming... Not exactly what I would wish to work as but it's as close as I can get...

Got a job at this place called Gaming Era where they sell games, consoles and what not... All related to the gaming world... The pay ain't much but just enough for me to get by...
Working Hours, insane! Most of u would know it...
I mean, retail line... it's always that long hours of standing and just entertain customers.

On a good day, if it's busy enough... the day would sail by swiftly...
On a bad day when there's not much crowd... The day would literally drag itself on the ground... Slowly... And killin' me with boredom in the process...

Right now, here I am, in the Serangoon Outlet.. Got sent here on a last minute note, was there in Plaza Singapura earlier in the day.
The pros and cons of both...
Being here in this Outlet... It's quite taxing... Chill out I would say but the only killer is the amount of boredom it gives me... (Thus being able to actually blog) Literally nothing much to do.. I mean, if there were customers coming in, I could actually like talk to them and not be too bored about it... But then again, can't complain...

As for Plaza Sing outlet... It's customers comin' in almost to a non stop and u'll have to entertain them like mad... Time flies by just like that.. Next thing u know, it's head back home time...

Besides the long hours, I have nothing much to complain about...

Tina A.k.a Tini

By now u guys do know that I'm with this adorable chinese girl named Tina who has an accidental Malay name, given to her by Zool in Australia...
Without realizing, it's already 2 years and 6 months together... Wow, time does fly ey?
From Filmgarde to RWS to UPS and now this game shop... Within the relationship period, I've changed three jobs...
Gotta find a job that I can stay in...
Anyways, that's besides the point...
For the two years plus that we've been together, she is the best ever! Always there for me, and always there to make me smile... Everyday after work when I'm feelin' down or just feelin' all drained out from work... Her adorableness and her sweetness simply puts a smile on me... She never fails to make me smile...
Lookin' forward for the years to come with her...

Social Life Close To Zero
Due to the workin' hours I have... I barely have enough time to actually meet up with my boys...
Even if I were to meet up with them, it'd be after work and that's like late at night... By then, I'd be all drained out and not really enjoyin' it. The only off day I have is a Monday and that is when most of my friends are workin'.. So our schedules don't really meet... On the days where they are off, I'm workin'... Can't really find the time to chill out...

The people that I meet mostly these days are my band mates... A simple jammin' session and then a hang out at the coffee shop and that's it...

Right now, I'm feelin' like I got no social life anymore...
After Work, either head home or have supper with my dearest.. and that's about it..
And soon, I truly need a long break...

Lookin' forward to the planned Bangkok and Japan trip this year...
Currently savin' up...

Sheesh... A few more days and another week will pass.

That's how fast time actually fly, don't u guys agree?

And most of us, are like robots...

I mean, everyday, it's a routine... 

Let's use my life as an example... 

7 Days a week right?

And within that one week, I work 5 days.. 

So that means, 2 Days off..

So here's the routine...

During my workin' days... I get up, get ready for work and then head off to work..

Nine and the half hours of work... 

And once done,

I head home... 

5 Days of doin' the same routine..

And on the two days off,

I either go out with my adorable Tina 

or...

hang out with the boys

or...

head out to jamming

or...

Crash at B's place...

So yeah, my life's like a fuckin' routine...

Like how the phrase goes,

"Same Shit, Different Days"

Or should I say, different years.. hahaha

.:: Facebook's Bein' A Major Bitch ::.

Now, I don't know if Facebook's bein' a major bitch or that my laptop is just bein' a major slut on me...

I can't seem to upload my pictures onto Facebook... 

Everytime I choose my pictures and decided to upload...

It would eventually just have an error at sendin' the pictures.. and that sucks.. I did it a couple of times.. and seriously.. it's like.. a couple of times... and it's still the same until I almost give up... 

I hope that it'll just be a short glitch or somethin' cuz I really wanna post up pictures...

.:: Her First Time Tryin' Out "Sup Tulang" ::.

Guess what? She had never tried "Sup Tulang" in her life! And two days ago, it was her first...

And she was all excited about it... She told me that she had heard about it and seen people eatin' 

BUT she had never tried it... So that day, was her first! Hehehe.. It was kinda cute seein' her being all excited..

Allright, before we begin...

This is the "Sup Tulang"... And the direct translation to it is actually... Bone Soup... I know it sounds weird... I mean.. Bone Soup..? 

Sounds like some prehistoric dish created by some caveman from some tribe or somethin'... 

It's actually a sheep's bone with some meat on it and then it's cooked with some red coloured gravy which has a li'l sweet & spicy taste to it... Words can't really describe the taste.. U have to try it to know how awesome this is... 

For those of u who ate this before, will understand the power.. of the "Tulang"! Hahaha... The best part about eatin' this is the narrow.. the bone narrow.. or somethin' like that.. Some of us would refer to it as.."Som Som".. Yummy!~~~

Normally, this dish would be accompanied by slices of bread, to dip into the gravy... 

But most of the time... We don't really bother about the bread... We would be more focused on the bone..

So me and my baby, head off to Beach Road to have this awesome bite! Beach Road, it's well known for it's delicious "Sup Tulang"

The price for this plate of "Sup Tulang" is 6 bucks... 

And 6 bucks is for a bone of 4 and it's a dollar for the bread.

The price ranges from 6 bucks to about 16 bucks, depending on the amount of bones u want...

So when we got there, we ordered the "Sup Tulang" Along with this nice cold cup of Sugar Cane which cost us about maybe, $1.30? or $1.50? I didn't really notice the price.. 

And so, with the sugar cane drinks and our plate of "Sup Tulang"... We dig in!

Ok, now we're back... Where we headed next is random... We decided to head out somewhere randomly but in the end, we changed our minds and decided to just head over to Iluma... As usual, we would walk around and just do some window shoppin' and such... 

Suddenly, we felt that the "Sup Tulang" wasn't enough... So we walk around, lookin' for some eateries... 

So we pass by this place and the smell of the food attracted us... and lookin' at the food on display, it was appetizing... And where is this u asked?

 It's BenTen Cafe!
Where is it located at?

It's right outside Iluma, to the right of the entrance... U won't miss it, it's prominent...

What they have here is a li'l mix of Japanese with Western food... Sorta like fusion? Maybe? Cuz in the menu, there's stuff like Burger with Fries.. and then there's the Japanese stuff... And well, we didn't know what to order... so we order the drinks first...

A Coke Float & A Chocolate Milkshake

And we continued lookin' at the menu... And finally, we decided to order...

So I decided to order the Unagi Teppan Set (Unagi actually means Eel in Japanese) and she decided to order the Hamburger Steak with Cheese.

And so, we start eatin' and oh my..

It's amazing...Maybe to some it might just be average or to some it might not even taste good but for me, it was awesome! I Tried a li'l bit of her Hamburger Steak, it was great... The meat's cooked just right and the black pepper sauce (U can actually choose from the 3 choices of sauce... Black pepper, Curry and there's one more sauce which I can't remember) was awesome... And with the melted cheese... wow! It was awesome..

And as for my Unagi Teppan, the sauce... Oooh la la.. the sauce was good... If only I had a choice to have more unagi... I would.... But the thing is, I can't.. hehe.. I have free flow of rice though! Hehehe.. 

Here's the thing, if u were to buy the set.. u would have a free flow of either bread or rice...

Now, the food part... well, the food part, it was great.. but it's not really the highlight of BenTen Cafe... 

No Sir.. 

It was their ice cream! 

If u were to look at their Ice Cream menu.. U'll be stoked! Seriously... 

Oh wait.. What am I talkin' about? I have the picture of the menu..

And take a look at this one.. HUGE ASS ICE CREAM!!

It may not look at huge ass in the picture.. but when ur there.. Oh.. it's huge!

We ordered this particular one where it's named "Never Give Up" and it was already considered huge.. I mean, it says there.. for 2-4 Person.. So imagine how huge it is... And when I placed the order, a few minutes later, the server said.."We're sorry sir, we ran out of that glass, is it ok if we upgrade u to the big glass?" I looked into my sweetheart and she looked at me.. and we're like.. "Ok!" 

Now, the big glass.. is for 3-5 Person.. Now.. There's somethin' wrong ain't it? I mean... me and her equals 2... now 3-5 person? Wow! It's insane!

I need not say anymore, let these pictures let u have an idea...

And we finished it! Can u believe it? We actually finished it! It's amazing! On top, there's bananas, kiwis, Honeydew, Love letter biscuit, Strawberries and even a toffee pudding! And inside that huge glass... There's actually cornflakes! And oh my god, it's like.. uber amazing! Seriously... Fat Boy's Heaven! It was uber yummy! And it was worth.. even better than Swensen's.. That I must say! For a slightly lesser amount.. and for a generous quantity... it was damn worth it!!

I recommend BenTen Cafe to anyone who wanna head out and have an awesome dessert...

That's right... 

It's a fine Tuesday... 

A very, quiet subtle one... 

Stayed home the whole time today with the occasional sleep and awake moments... 

I must say that the weather's a li'l warmed up today... 

Well, not only today, but almost everyday...

Somehow, I suspect that it's the haze cuz I can smell the haze.. 

And I can see the haze... 

U know, when it gets all.. 

smoked up in the air... 

Well, whatever it is, I know that it's my off day today and I'm suppose to be on relaxed mode.. 

And well, I am... 

I'm chillin' out for sure...

Now is about 7:52 PM and I'll be jammin' later with BP at 11 PM... 

Still no news from Bernard and the rest... 

I'm guessin' they're pretty tired or somethin'... 

Because from what I understand, Yan & B had their shoot yesterday and they ended quite late...

Very late...

This was a gift... 

A sweet gift given by my adorable Tina..

It was Chinese New Year & Valentine's Day...

Well... Before the two special days actually...

It was slightly before her birthday...

Me and her two friends celebrated her birthday by treating her to Seoul Garden buffet in Bugis,

Right after that, we walked around.. lookin' and just.. window shopped...

And then she and her friends were acting all suspicious and with all the weird questions and stuff...

I was beginning to suspect somethin'... And well, I know somewhat they were lookin' for a gift.. and that gift was somehow to me... I mean, I may be wrong the first time when I thought about it... but after the bunch of questions asked by her friends.. I guess the surprise was no longer there...

And I was right... It was for me.. hehe.. But the though of my baby wantin' to give me a li'l surprise was very sweet... Very sweet indeed! Thank you baby for the cool watch!

.:: Car Wash With Baby ::.

This was the day where she got surprised by me... She was workin' and she ended late that night and before that, I was already at home cuz I end work around 5pm and got home maybe about 6 or so? 

Her shift ends at 12:45am that night... And so we were exchanging messages and stuff and I told her that I was gettin' ready for bed already and stuff... but the fact is that I was actually gettin' ready to head to her workplace... And we kept on messaging and she was really thinkin' that I was at home on my bed when I was actually driving down already... 

And so, when I got there, I told her to give me a call after she's done with work as I wanted to hear her before I go to bed.. and so.. she did.. she called me up.. and still, she thought I was at home.. hehehe.. It was adorable... I was hidin' somewhere and I could hear her voice from afar as I was talkin' to her on the phone... 

After all that, she was surprised to see me... 

It was really cute of her... very cute... 

And so, we took a short drive around, sending her colleauges (my ex colleagues too) back, one by one... and lastly, before we head home, we sent the car for a wash... So the pictures u see up there, was that particular day.. So Sweet...

.:: Last Night Shift To Go ::.

Hey all, I'm back again to do another update... Previously, I've been workin' the B shift most of the time, which I feel is the most fucked up shift ever... I mean, ur neither here nor there.. That's what I always feel about mid-shifts... Cuz when u wake up in the mornin', ur already gettin' ready to get to work... and once ur at work, it's in the afternoon and when u end work.. it's like too late to do anythin'... (Hang outs, date, dinner and so on).. So yeah... 

Yesterday I had a night shift and boy, night shift's awesome... There ain't much stress goin' on... Peaceful, not much movement and u feel free at work. And the best part, no one really bother u...

The only downside about the night shift is that ur workin' late at night while everyone else are asleep and for me, I'm a night person so I don't really mind actually... 

So there I was, at work, doin' my own work (Polish the trolleys, fetch newspapers, charge the buggy and what not), with no one bothering me... and time flies.. oh my.. time really flies when ur workin' the night shift.. and that's a good thing.. hahaha...

A few days before I was complainin' when I saw my schedule because when I saw my schedule, I saw my night shift and right after my night shift was my off day.. And I don't really like it when I'm havin' an off day right after my night shift cuz half of ur off day is gone... '

So there I was complainin' about my one day off and stuff.. bla bla bla.. 

BUT...

.:: 3 Days Off + 1 Day PH = 4 Days To Chill Out ::.

I saw next week's schedule and I was like...Happy as monkey who had just gotten 10 bananas!

Ok, maybe not to that extend but somehow I was jumpin' for joy.. haha... 

Sunday's my off and then for next week, I got Monday and Tuesday off and then on Wednesday, I got one PH... So yeah! JOY TO THE FUCKIN' WORLD! Hahahah!!

If only I could keep my PH, that would be awesome but then again, we're not allowed to keep it long.. darn!

For those who's wonderin' what PH means.. it's Public Holiday... For every holiday u work, u'll earn one day of PH that u can claim for later... So it's all good...

If u guys ever wonder how my uniform looks like.. well.. here it is...

.:: The Devil's Room ::.

Hmmm, the devil's room... For this part of the entry, it's not really associatin' with the devil or seen the devil or anythin' like that... 

It's just that when I was walkin' on the corridor of the 6th floor... to send some letter to some room... I stumble upon a door number and I was like..."Whoa~~~"

That's right people... "666"... that's the number I saw... And I thought... "Shit, ain't that the Devil's Number" 

So Yeah.. it's just a random entry for this one.. hahaha...

.:: Dinner With The Few ::.

A bunch of us are plannin' to have like a small gatherin' and just hang out, u know.. maybe have a li'l bondin' session... What they have plan is to go have dinner and maybe go for a movie or Karaoke or somethin' like that... And it's all happenin' this Wednesday... I'm guessin' it's gonna be fun.. well.. let's just see how it goes for that day...

Now, this is what u get when u ask a cute li'l adorable lady to wear a big guy's stuff... Adorably cute she is! Without realizing, it's already like almost 8 months together come this 10th March... Wow, it's been that long ey? I'm amazed at it... somehow.. hehehe.. I love her so much, she's so adorable. My li'l Miss Tina Tan...

.:: iPod Touch, Xbox 360 or iPad ::.

Remember the last time I wrote in about what I'm plannin' to buy for myself? 

I was thinkin' either to get the iPod Touch or buy again an Xbox right?

Well, for now, I got another option in the list... 

Yeap, that's right, it's the iPad!

I was readin' about it in Apple's Website and somehow, it caught my attention. The only thing is that, it's not out yet... So I might have to wait for it but hell, it's quite a beauty.

I mean, it's like the blown up version of the iPhone... It's almost the same only it's bigger.. 

Somewhat a cross breed of the iPod Touch and the Macbook... But hey, it's a beauty... that's for sure...

Like I said, ain't she a beauty!

Allright then all, looks like I have to get going now... gotta prepare for work already...
